ततो भाग अर्थिनो देवान् द्रष्टुम् अर्हसि कौशिक ।
इति उक्त्वा मुनि शार्दूलम् प्रहृष्ट वदनः तदा ॥ ॥१-५०-१६॥
Tato bhāga arthino devān draṣṭum arhasi kauśika । Iti uktvā muni śārdūlam prahṛṣṭa vadanaḥ tadā ॥ ॥1-50-16॥
Translation
"Therefore, O Kaushika, you will be able to witness the gods arriving to claim their sacrificial shares." Having said this to the tiger among sages, the King, with a joyful face...
हिंदी अनुवाद
"इसलिए हे कौशिक! (यज्ञ के अंत में) आप अपना भाग लेने के लिए आए हुए देवताओं के दर्शन कर सकेंगे।" मुनिश्रेष्ठ से ऐसा कहकर, प्रसन्न मुख वाले राजा ने (राम-लक्ष्मण की ओर देखा)।
English Commentary
Janaka offers a spiritual incentive for Vishwamitra to stay: the vision of the gods. In Vedic theology, deities descend to accept their Bhaga (share) at the end of a successful Yajna. Janaka implies that Vishwamitra’s presence is worthy of this divine gathering. The king's "joyful face" (Prahrishta vadanah) marks a transition from discussing ritual logistics to the sudden, delightful discovery of the two princes.

वैदिक यज्ञों में माना जाता है कि पूर्णाहुति के समय देवता अपना 'भाग' (share) लेने प्रत्यक्ष आते हैं। जनक विश्वामित्र को प्रलोभन (spiritual incentive) दे रहे हैं कि यदि वे रुकेंगे, तो उन्हें देवताओं के दर्शन होंगे। जनक का मुख 'प्रहृष्ट' (प्रसन्न) है, शायद इसलिए कि यज्ञ सफल हो रहा है, या शायद इसलिए कि उनकी दृष्टि अब राम और लक्ष्मण पर पड़ी है, जो अगले श्लोक का विषय हैं।
