सुख उपविष्टम् राजानम् विश्वामित्रम् महातपाः ।
पप्रच्छ जपताम् श्रेष्ठो वसिष्ठो ब्रह्मणः सुतः ॥ ॥१-५२-६॥
Sukha upaviṣṭam rājānam viśvāmitram mahātapāḥ |
Papraccha japatām śreṣṭho vasiṣṭho brahmaṇaḥ sutaḥ ॥1-52-6॥
Translation
After King Vishvamitra was comfortably seated, the great ascetic Vashistha, the son of Brahma and the best among those who meditate, asked him questions.

सुखपूर्वक आसन पर बैठे हुए राजा विश्वामित्र से, तपस्वियों (जप करने वालों) में श्रेष्ठ और ब्रह्मा जी के पुत्र, महातपस्वी वसिष्ठ जी ने (राज्य से जुड़े) प्रश्न पूछे।
