Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
श्रुत्वा ते वचनम् सर्वे शिष्याणाम् मुनि सत्तमम् ।
समुपेतुः तदा हृष्टा विश्वामित्रम् महाबलम् ॥१-५८-१४॥
śrutvā te vacanam sarve śiṣyāṇām muni sattamam । samupetuḥ tadā hṛṣṭā viśvāmitram mahābalam ॥1-58-14॥
Translation
Hearing those words of the disciples, all those best among the sages, exceedingly delighted, came to the greatly powerful Viśvāmitra.

शिष्यों के उन वचनों को सुनकर, वे सभी मुनियों में श्रेष्ठ, अत्यंत हर्षित होकर, महाबलशाली विश्वामित्र के पास आ गए।
English Commentary
This verse proves the prestige of Viśvāmitra and the power of his resolve. The Brahmanas, upon hearing the invitation sent by his disciples, readily agreed to come to Viśvāmitra, being 'hṛṣṭā' (exceedingly delighted). 'Muni sattamam' (best among the sages) indicates Viśvāmitra's high status, despite his antagonism with Vasiṣṭha. The use of the word 'mahābalam' (greatly powerful) for Viśvāmitra in this verse is significant, denoting the extraordinary power he had accumulated through his penance, which was acknowledged even by the Brahmanas. Their delight shows that they not only respected Viśvāmitra but were also eager to participate in an unprecedented and challenging task like Triśaṅku's sacrifice.
