उत्तिष्ठन्तु ऋषयः सर्वे ये केचित् सन्ति अपरे ।
स्वर्गम् अन्यम् विसृक्ष्यामि ह्य् अप्रतिज्ञम् न मे भवेत् ॥१-५९-२१॥
uttiṣṭhantu ṛṣayaḥ sarve ye kecit santi apare । svargaṁ anyam visṛkṣyāmi hy apratijñam na me bhavet ॥1-59-21॥
Translation
Let all the other sages, whoever they may be, rise up. I shall create another heaven, for my promise must not be false.

जितने भी अन्य ऋषि हैं, वे सभी उठें। मैं एक अन्य स्वर्ग की रचना करूँगा, क्योंकि मेरी प्रतिज्ञा मिथ्या नहीं होनी चाहिए।
English Commentary
This verse explains the core reason for Viśvāmitra's firm resolve—'apratijñam na me bhavet' (my promise must not be false). For Viśvāmitra, fulfilling his promise was a matter of his personal honor and the integrity of his penance. He asked all the assembled sages to rise in support, which meant they should participate in this unprecedented act of creation. His command 'svargaṁ anyam visṛkṣyāmi' (I shall create another heaven) proves his immense creative power and his desire to challenge the authority of the gods. This declaration transforms Viśvāmitra's anger into a creative force, making him ready to fulfill his resolve at any cost.

यह श्लोक विश्वामित्र के दृढ़ संकल्प का मूल कारण बताता है—'अप्रतिज्ञम् न मे भवेत्' (मेरी प्रतिज्ञा मिथ्या नहीं होनी चाहिए)। विश्वामित्र के लिए उनकी प्रतिज्ञा का पालन करना उनके व्यक्तिगत सम्मान और उनकी तपस्या की अखंडता का मामला था। उन्होंने उपस्थित सभी ऋषियों को अपने समर्थन में उठने के लिए कहा, जिसका अर्थ था कि वे इस अभूतपूर्व सृष्टि कार्य में भाग लें। उनका आदेश 'स्वर्गम् अन्यम् विसृक्ष्यामि' (मैं एक अन्य स्वर्ग की रचना करूँगा) उनकी अपार रचनात्मक शक्ति और देवताओं के अधिकार को चुनौती देने की उनकी इच्छा को सिद्ध करता है। यह घोषणा विश्वामित्र के क्रोध को एक सृजनात्मक शक्ति में बदल देती है, जिससे वे अपने संकल्प को हर कीमत पर सिद्ध करने के लिए तैयार थे।
