सा तेन इक्ष्वाकु नाथेन पुरी सु परिरक्षिता ।
यथा पुरस्तात् मनुना मानवेन्द्रेण धीमता ॥१-६-२०॥
sā tena ikṣvāku nāthena purī su parirakṣitā |
yathā purastāt manunā mānavendreṇa dhīmatā ॥1-6-20॥
Translation
That city is well protected by the ruler of the Ikshvaku dynasty, just as in ancient times it was protected by Manu, the wise lord of mankind.
