Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
योधानाम् अग्नि कल्पानाम् पेशलानाम् अमर्षिणाम् ।
संपूर्णा कृत विद्यानाम् गुहा केसरिणाम् इव ॥१-६-२१॥
yodhānām agni kalpānām peśalānām amarṣiṇām । saṁpūrṇā kṛta vidyānām guhā keśariṇām iva ॥1-6-21॥
Translation
Like the warriors, like the fire, like the creators, the indomitable ones are complete like the knowledge and the lion's den.
हिंदी अनुवाद
युद्धियों की तरह आग और रचनाओं की तरह होते हैं, असहनीय रूप से समर्थ होते हैं। पूरी विद्या और गुहा की तरह आकाश में फैले होते हैं।
English Commentary
This verse describes the strength of warriors, their indomitable courage, and the vastness of knowledge. Warriors are known not just for their physical strength but also for their knowledge and creativity. They symbolize the completeness of fiery and indomitable forces. Vidya refers to knowledge, which makes life easy and sensitive. The lion's den signifies the valor of warriors and heralds their unique position.

इस श्लोक में योधाओं की शक्ति, उनके अदम्य साहस तथा ज्ञान की व्यापकता का वर्णन किया गया है। योधा केवल शारीरिक बल के लिए नहीं बल्कि अपने ज्ञान और रचनात्मकता के लिए भी जाने जाते हैं। वे अग्नि की तरह तेज व अमर्षिण वाली शक्तियों की संपूर्णता के प्रतीक हैं। विद्या का अर्थ है ज्ञान, जो जीवन को सहज और संवेदनशील बनाता है। गुहा में बसने वाले केसरिण, अर्थात सिंह का संकेत योधाओं की वीरता और उनकी अनोखी स्थिति का सूर्योदय करता है।
