Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
विश्वामित्रो महातेजाः प्रस्थितान् वीक्ष्य तान् ऋषीन् ।
अब्रवीत् नरशार्दूल सर्वान् तान् वन वासिनः ॥१-६१-१॥
Viśvāmitro mahātejāḥ prasthitān vīkṣya tān ṛṣīn |
Abravīt naraśārdūla sarvān tān vana vāsinaḥ ॥1-61-1॥
Translation
"The greatly resplendent Vishwamitra, having seen those Sages depart, O best among men (Rama)! spoke this to all those forest-dwelling (disciples)."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"महातेजस्वी विश्वामित्र ने उन (अपने साथ के) ऋषियों को जाते हुए देखकर, हे पुरुष-श्रेष्ठ राम! उन सभी वनवासी (शिष्यों) से यह बात कही।"
English Commentary
After the successful conclusion of the Trishanku narrative, Vishwamitra turned his attention to his accompanying Sages and disciples. The departure of the gods and other great Sages marks the end of one chapter, and Vishwamitra now focuses on his future plans. 'Naraśārdūla' (best among men) again addresses Rama, emphasizing his importance as the listener. Vishwamitra addressing his disciples shows his desire to return to his original purpose of tapas, which had been interrupted by the protection of Trishanku.

त्रिशंकु की कथा के सफल समापन के बाद, विश्वामित्र ने अपने साथ के ऋषियों और शिष्यों से बात करना शुरू किया। देवताओं और अन्य महर्षियों का प्रस्थान एक अध्याय के समाप्त होने का प्रतीक है, और अब विश्वामित्र अपनी भावी योजना पर ध्यान केंद्रित करते हैं। 'नरशार्दूल' (पुरुष-श्रेष्ठ) पुनः राम को संबोधित करता है, जो इस बात पर जोर देता है कि श्रोता के रूप में राम का महत्व कितना अधिक है। विश्वामित्र का अपने शिष्यों को संबोधित करना दर्शाता है कि वह अब तपस्या के अपने मूल उद्देश्य की ओर लौटना चाहते हैं, जिसे इस बीच त्रिशंकु की रक्षा के कारण बाधित होना पड़ा था।
