English Commentary
Brahma encourages Vishvamitra with the command "Strive on" (yatasva). The epithet "Muni Shardula" (Tiger among Sages) is telling; it acknowledges his ferocity and power but subtly implies that he still retains the aggressive nature of a predator/warrior (Kshatriya temperament), rather than the calm of a Brahmana. After the divine assembly departs, Vishvamitra does not despair. Instead, the rejection fuels his determination, showcasing the hallmark of his character: refusal to accept defeat until the ultimate goal is reached.
