Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
ब्राह्मणः सुमहातेजाः तपो बल समन्वितः ।
उद्धरिष्यति रंभे त्वाम् मत् क्रोध कलुषी कृताम् ॥१-६४-१३॥
brāhmaṇaḥ sumahātejāḥ tapo bala samanvitaḥ |
uddhariṣyati raṃbhe tvām mat krodha kaluṣī kṛtām ॥1-64-13॥
Translation
"O Rambha! A Brahmin of great luster, endowed with the power of penance, will redeem you who have been tainted by my anger."

"हे रंभे! मेरे क्रोध से कलंकित हुई तुझे, एक महातेजस्वी और तपोबल से युक्त ब्राह्मण (पुनः) उद्धार करेगा।"
English Commentary
As is customary with sage curses, a clause of redemption (shapa-vimochana) is provided. Vishvamitra declares that a Brahmin of great spiritual power will eventually liberate her from this petrified state. This offers a glimmer of hope. Even in his fury, the sage provides a way out, ensuring that her punishment, though severe, is temporary and serves as a purgative phase before her restoration.

क्रोध के वेग के बाद, ऋषियों में प्रायः करुणा का उदय होता है। विश्वामित्र शाप की अवधि और मुक्ति का उपाय बताते हैं। वे कहते हैं कि एक तेजस्वी 'ब्राह्मण' उसका उद्धार करेगा। यह मुक्ति भविष्य में किसी अन्य सिद्ध महात्मा के द्वारा होगी। यह श्लोक दर्शाता है कि शाप भी अनंत नहीं होता; उसका भी अंत निश्चित है।
