English Commentary
The use of the address "Saumya" (Gentle One) marks the complete transformation of Vishvamitra’s personality from a fierce, aggressive king to a calm, benevolent sage. Brahma granting him permission to go "wherever he pleases" symbolizes spiritual liberation (Moksha) and absolute freedom. A realized soul is not bound by geography or duty in the mundane sense. The collective blessing of the gods ensures his path is now cleared of the obstacles he faced earlier.
