Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
विश्वामित्रो अपि धर्मात्मा सह रामः स लक्ष्मणः ।
स्वम् वासम् अभिचक्राम पूज्यमानो महर्षिभिः ॥ ॥१-६५-४०॥
Viśvāmitro api dharmātmā saha rāmaḥ sa lakṣmaṇaḥ । Svam vāsam abhicakrāma pūjyamāno maharṣibhiḥ ॥ ॥1-65-40॥
Translation
The righteous-souled Vishvamitra too, accompanied by Rama and Lakshmana, proceeded to his own quarters, being worshipped by great sages.

धर्मात्मा विश्वामित्र ने भी राम और लक्ष्मण के साथ अपने निवास स्थान की ओर प्रस्थान किया, जहाँ महर्षियों द्वारा उनका पूजन (आदर) किया जा रहा था।
English Commentary
This concludes Canto 65. The trio retires for the night. The phrase "worshipped by great sages" indicates that other ascetics present at the sacrifice also held Vishvamitra in high esteem, likely gathering around him as he walked to his quarters. This creates a protective and reverent aura around Rama and Lakshmana as they end their day, preparing them physically and mentally for the destiny awaiting them the next morning.

इस श्लोक के साथ सर्ग 65 समाप्त होता है। दिन भर की लंबी चर्चा के बाद विश्वामित्र राम और लक्ष्मण के साथ विश्राम के लिए जाते हैं। यहाँ "पूज्यमानो महर्षिभिः" महत्वपूर्ण है—वहाँ उपस्थित अन्य महान ऋषि भी विश्वामित्र का आदर कर रहे हैं। यह राम और लक्ष्मण के लिए एक और संकेत है कि उनका गुरु ऋषियों के समाज में कितना प्रतिष्ठित है। रात्रि विश्राम अगले दिन की बड़ी घटना के लिए आवश्यक है।
