English Commentary
The sheer intensity of Vishvamitra's psychic heat began to radiate outward, affecting the thermodynamic balance of the cosmos. The "Three Worlds" (Trailokya) felt scorched, creating a universal panic. This verse lists various classes of beings—celestial sages, musicians (Gandharvas), and serpents (Pannagas/Uragas)—to show that this crisis transcended boundaries. Good and evil beings alike were terrified. It illustrates that when a single consciousness reaches the peak of potential, the entire universe vibrates in resonance with it, often violently.
