मुनि गुप्तौ च काकुत्स्थौ कथयंतु नृपाय वै ।
प्रीति युक्तम् तु राजानम् आनयंतु सु शीघ्र गाः ॥ ॥१-६७-२६॥
Muni guptau ca kākutsthau kathayaṃtu nṛpāya vai । Prīti yuktam tu rājānam ānayaṃtu su śīghra gāḥ ॥ ॥1-67-26॥
Translation
They should surely tell the King that the two Kakutsthas (Rama and Lakshmana) are well-protected by the Sage. Let the swift-traveling envoys bring the delighted King here.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे राजा को यह भी बताएँ कि दोनों काकुत्स्थ (राम और लक्ष्मण) मुनि के संरक्षण में सुरक्षित हैं। इस प्रकार राजा को प्रसन्न करके वे शीघ्रगामी दूत उन्हें यहाँ ले आएँ।
English Commentary
Janaka displays great empathy here. He anticipates King Dasharatha's parental anxiety regarding his young sons who left to fight demons. Therefore, a crucial part of the message is the assurance that the Kakutsthas are Muni guptau (guarded by the Sage) and safe. The goal is to transform the King's mood from worry to priti (joy/affection). Only a relieved and happy father can fully participate in the upcoming celebrations. The instruction to be su shighra gah (swift movers) reiterates the excitement and urgency of the occasion.

जनक एक पिता के हृदय की चिंता को समझते हैं। वे जानते हैं कि दशरथ अपने पुत्रों राम और लक्ष्मण के वियोग में चिंतित होंगे। इसलिए, निमंत्रण से पहले वे यह संदेश भिजवाते हैं कि दोनों कुमार 'मुनि गुप्तौ' (मुनि द्वारा रक्षित) और सुरक्षित हैं। जनक का उद्देश्य केवल दशरथ को बुलाना नहीं, बल्कि उन्हें 'प्रीति युक्तम्' (प्रेम और प्रसन्नता से युक्त) करना है। वे चाहते हैं कि दशरथ चिंतामुक्त होकर और प्रसन्न मन से विवाह उत्सव में भाग लेने के लिए मिथिला आएँ।
