चतुरंग बलम् च अपि शीघ्रम् निर्यातु सर्वशः ।
मम आज्ञा समकालम् च यानम् युग्मम् अनुत्तमम् ॥ ॥१-६९-३॥
Caturaṃga balam ca api śīghram niryātu sarvaśaḥ । Mama ājñā samakālam ca yānam yugmam anuttamam ॥ ॥1-69-3॥
Translation
Let the four-fold army also march out quickly from all sides. At the same time as this order, let my excellent palanquin (or chariot) be prepared.

मेरी चतुरंगिणी सेना (हथी, घोड़े, रथ और पैदल सिपाही) भी सब ओर से शीघ्र प्रस्थान करे। मेरी इस आज्ञा के साथ ही मेरी उत्तम पालकी (या रथ) भी तैयार की जाए।
English Commentary
King Dasharatha orders the immediate mobilization of the 'Chaturanga' army—the traditional four divisions comprising elephants, chariots, cavalry, and infantry. The use of the word sarvaśaḥ (from all sides) indicates a massive deployment. Simultaneously, he calls for his own royal transport (yānam yugmam). The urgency in his command reflects his emotional state; he is eager to reunite with Rama and Lakshmana and formalize the alliance with King Janaka. It shows the efficiency of Ayodhya's administration, expected to mobilize a full army instantly upon the King's command.

यहाँ दशरथ जी की उत्सुकता और तत्परता दिखाई देती है। 'चतुरंगिणी सेना' में हाथी, घोड़े, रथ और पैदल सैनिक शामिल होते हैं। राजा का आदेश है कि पूरी सेना 'शीघ्र' प्रस्थान करे। यह केवल शक्ति प्रदर्शन नहीं है, बल्कि एक सुरक्षात्मक उपाय भी है। साथ ही, वे अपने निजी वाहन की मांग करते हैं, जो यह बताता है कि वे एक क्षण भी विलंब नहीं करना चाहते। पुत्रों के विवाह का समाचार पाकर पिता का हृदय उत्साह से भरा हुआ है, और वे तत्काल जनकपुर पहुँचना चाहते हैं।
