Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
तत् वाक्यम् जनकेन उक्तम् श्रुत्वा दशरथः तदा ।
प्रवेशयामास सुतान् सर्वान् ऋषि गणान् अपि ॥ ॥१-७३-१७॥
Tat vākyam Janakena uktam śrutvā Daśarathaḥ tadā । Praveśayāmāsa sutān sarvān ṛṣi gaṇān api ॥ ॥1-73-17॥
Translation
Hearing those words spoken by Janaka, Dasharatha then caused all his sons and the groups of sages to enter (the pavilion).
हिंदी अनुवाद
जनक के उस वचन को सुनकर, राजा दशरथ ने तब अपने पुत्रों और ऋषि-गणों को (मण्डप के भीतर) प्रवेश कराया।
English Commentary
Responding to Janaka's warm welcome and slight impatience to begin, Dasharatha initiates the movement into the inner sanctum of the wedding hall. The verse notes that he ushered in not just his sons (Sutan) but also the hosts of sages (Rishi ganan). This re-emphasizes the theme that this royal wedding is fundamentally a spiritual event, guarded and guided by the ascetic community. The physical entry marks the final step before the rites begin.

जनक के प्रेमपूर्ण निमंत्रण और आग्रह को सुनकर दशरथ ने औपचारिक प्रवेश किया। 'प्रवेशयामास' क्रिया दर्शाती है कि दशरथ ने नेतृत्व करते हुए अपने पुत्रों और ऋषियों को मण्डप के अंदर बुलवाया। यह बारात के आगमन और विवाह स्थल पर मुख्य अनुष्ठान के लिए आसन ग्रहण करने का क्षण है। अब दोनों पक्ष, वर और वधू, अग्नि के समक्ष एक ही स्थान पर उपस्थित हो गए हैं।
