पुष्पवृष्टिः महति आसीत् अंतरिक्षात् सु भास्वरा ।
दिव्य दुन्दुभि निर्घोषैः गीत वादित्र निःस्वनैः ॥ ॥१-७३-३७॥
Puṣpavṛṣṭiḥ mahati āsīt antarikṣāt su bhāsvarā |
Divya dundubhi nirghoṣaiḥ gīta vāditra niḥsvanaiḥ ॥1-73-37॥
Translation
There was a great and radiant shower of flowers from the sky, accompanied by the resounding of celestial drums and the sounds of singing and musical instruments.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(उस समय) आकाश से फूलों की भारी और अत्यंत चमकीली वर्षा हुई। साथ ही दिव्य दुंदुभियों (नगाड़ों) की आवाज और गाने-बजाने का शोर गूंज उठा।
English Commentary
As the rites concluded, the cosmos rejoiced. The "Pushpavrishti" (rain of flowers) is described as "Su bhasvara" (very radiant/resplendent), indicating their celestial origin. The auditory landscape is filled with "Divya dundubhi" (divine drums) and music. This supernatural applause serves to validate the union as divinely ordained and beneficial for the universe, transcending a mere political alliance between two kingdoms.

विवाह संपन्न होते ही प्रकृति और स्वर्गलोक ने अपनी प्रसन्नता व्यक्त की। 'सु भास्वरा' (सुंदर और चमकीली) पुष्पवृष्टि का वर्णन है, जो साधारण फूलों की वर्षा नहीं थी, बल्कि दिव्य थी। पृथ्वी पर हो रहे मांगलिक कार्य का अनुमोदन आकाश (देवताओं) द्वारा किया जा रहा है। दुंदुभि और वाद्य यंत्रों की ध्वनि ने वातावरण को उत्सवमय बना दिया। यह श्लोक दृश्य को श्रव्य और दृश्य (audio-visual) दोनों रूपों में भव्य बनाता है।
