तथा ब्रुवति रामे तु जामदग्न्ये प्रतापवान् ।
रामो दाशरथिः श्रीमान् चिक्षेप शरम् उत्तमम् ॥१-७६-२१॥
tathā bruvati rāme tu jāmadagnye pratāpavān |
rāmo dāśarathiḥ śrīmān cikṣepa śaram uttamam ॥1-76-21॥
Translation
While Jamadagnya Rama was speaking thus, the glorious and majestic Rama, son of Dasharatha, shot that excellent arrow.
हिंदी अनुवाद
परशुराम जी के ऐसा कहने पर, प्रतापवान और श्रीमान दाशरथि राम ने उस उत्तम बाण को छोड़ दिया।
English Commentary
The action is consummated. The verse emphasizes Rama's identity as 'Dasharathi' (son of Dasharatha) to distinguish him clearly from Parashurama in this final act. He is described as 'Pratapavan' (valorous) and 'Shriman' (possessing splendor/fortune). Rama complies with the sage's request, releasing the arrow. This act serves as the metaphysical seal on the transfer of power. The arrow's flight represents the destruction of Parashurama's attachment to his past merits, liberating him to return to pure asceticism.

यहाँ कार्रवाई पूरी होती है। 'दाशरथि' विशेषण का प्रयोग राम को परशुराम (भार्गव) से अलग करने के लिए किया गया है। 'श्रीमान' शब्द दर्शाता है कि राम अब पूरी तरह से अपनी दिव्य शोभा (श्री) से युक्त हैं। राम ने बिना किसी द्वेष के, केवल परशुराम के अनुरोध और धर्म की रक्षा हेतु बाण छोड़ दिया। यह बाण किसी भौतिक लक्ष्य पर नहीं, बल्कि आध्यात्मिक लक्ष्य (परशुराम के अर्जित लोकों) पर चलाया गया था।
