ततो वि तिमिराः सर्वा दिशा च उपदिशः तथा ।
सुराः स ऋषि गणाः रामम् प्रशशंसुः उदायुधम् ॥१-७६-२३॥
tato vi timirāḥ sarvā diśā ca upadiśaḥ tathā |
surāḥ sa ṛṣi gaṇāḥ rāmam praśaśaṃsuḥ udāyudham ॥1-76-23॥
Translation
Then, all the directions and intermediate directions became free of darkness. The gods, along with hosts of sages, praised Rama who was holding the raised weapon.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(परशुराम के चले जाने के बाद) तब सभी दिशाएं और विदिशाएं अंधकार रहित (स्वच्छ) हो गईं। देवताओं और ऋषियों के समूहों ने शस्त्र (धनुष) उठाए हुए श्री राम की प्रशंसा की।
English Commentary
The departure of Parashurama lifts the cosmic gloom that had descended upon the world. The clearing of darkness in all directions symbolizes the restoration of order and peace after a moment of intense divine friction. The gods and sages praise Rama specifically in his martial stance ("holding the raised weapon"), acknowledging him as the new guardian of the universe. This verse marks the transition from the tension of confrontation to the relief of victory.

परशुराम और श्री राम के मिलन के समय जो प्राकृतिक विक्षोभ और अंधकार छा गया था, वह अब छंट गया है। यह भौतिक अंधकार के साथ-साथ भय और अनिश्चितता के अंधकार के दूर होने का भी प्रतीक है। 'उदायुधम्' (उठाए हुए आयुध वाला) शब्द महत्वपूर्ण है; देवता और ऋषि राम की प्रशंसा एक शांत बालक के रूप में नहीं, बल्कि एक रक्षक योद्धा के रूप में कर रहे हैं जिसने अभी-अभी अपनी श्रेष्ठता सिद्ध की है। प्रकृति की शांति धर्म की स्थापना का संकेत है।
