Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
इति उक्त्वा राघवः क्रुद्धो भार्गवस्य वर आयुधम् ।
शरम् च प्रतिजग्राह हस्तात् लघु पराक्रमः ॥१-७६-४॥
Iti uktvā rāghavaḥ kruddho bhārgavasya vara āyudham |
Śaram ca pratijagrāha hastāt laghu parākramaḥ ॥1-76-4॥
Translation
Speaking thus, the angry Raghava (Rama), of swift prowess, seized that best of weapons and the arrow from Bhargava's hand.

ऐसा कहकर, क्रोधित राघव (श्री राम) ने, जो शीघ्र पराक्रम दिखाने वाले हैं, भार्गव के हाथ से वह श्रेष्ठ आयुध (धनुष) और बाण झपट लिया (ग्रहण कर लिया)।
English Commentary
The phrase laghu parākramaḥ (of swift/easy prowess) is significant here. It implies that Rama took the bow with effortless speed. He seized the weapon from Parashurama's hand before the latter could react. This action symbolizes the transfer of the Vaishnava Tejas (divine energy) from the partial incarnation (Parashurama) to the complete incarnation (Rama). Rama's anger here is righteous, stemming from the defense of his capability and Dharma.

इस श्लोक में 'लघु पराक्रमः' शब्द अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है। इसका अर्थ है जिसने सहजता या शीघ्रता से पराक्रम दिखाया। राम ने परशुराम के हाथ से धनुष इतनी तेजी और आसानी से ले लिया कि परशुराम प्रतिक्रिया भी न कर सके। यह क्रिया यह सिद्ध करती है कि वैष्णव तेज अब परशुराम से निकलकर श्री राम (पूर्ण अवतार) में समाहित हो रहा है। राम का क्रोध यहाँ धर्म-रक्षा के लिए है, अहंकार के लिए नहीं।
