Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
वर आयुध धरम् रामम् द्रष्टुम् स ऋषि गणाः सुराः ।
पितामहम् पुरस्कृत्य शामिलाः तत्र सर्वशः ॥१-७६-९॥
Vara āyudha dharam rāmam draṣṭum sa ṛṣi gaṇāḥ surāḥ |
Pitāmaham puraskṛtya sametāḥ tatra sarvaśaḥ ॥1-76-9॥
Translation
To behold Rama wielding that excellent weapon, the hosts of Rishis and Devas, keeping Grandfather Brahma at their head, gathered there from all sides.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस समय श्रेष्ठ आयुध धारण किए हुए श्री राम को देखने के लिए, ब्रह्मा जी (पितामह) को आगे करके, ऋषियों के समूह और देवतागण सब ओर से वहाँ एकत्र हो गए।
English Commentary
The scene shifts from a terrestrial duel to a cosmic event. The Devas and Rishis, led by Creator Brahma himself, gather to witness this spectacle. Their presence signifies that this is not a mere fight but a pivotal moment in divine history—the meeting of two incarnations of Vishnu. The gods gather to validate Rama's supremacy and witness the necessary humbling of Parashurama for the restoration of cosmic balance.

यह दृश्य का लौकिक से अलौकिक में परिवर्तन है। अभी तक यह दो योद्धाओं का संवाद था, लेकिन अब यह एक ब्रह्मांडीय घटना बन गई है। ब्रह्मा जी स्वयं आ रहे हैं क्योंकि वे जानते हैं कि यह विष्णु के दो स्वरूपों का मिलन है। देवताओं की उपस्थिति यह सिद्ध करती है कि राम का यह कार्य (परशुराम का मान-मर्दन) देवताओं के कार्य की सिद्धि के लिए आवश्यक है।
