Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
रेमिरे मुदिताः सर्वा भर्तृभिः सहिता रहः ।
कृत दाराः कृत अस्त्राः च स धनाः स सुहृत् जनाः ॥१-७७-१४॥
remire muditāḥ sarvā bhartṛbhiḥ sahitā rahaḥ |
kṛta dārāḥ kṛta astrāḥ ca sa dhanāḥ sa suhṛt janāḥ ॥1-77-14॥
Translation
All the joyful princesses enjoyed the company of their husbands in private. The princes, now married, were accomplished in weaponry, possessed of wealth, and surrounded by friends.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे सभी राजकुमारियाँ प्रसन्न होकर एकांत में अपने पतियों के साथ रमण करने लगीं। वे राजकुमार अब विवाहित थे, अस्त्र-विद्या में निपुण थे, धन-धान्य और मित्रों से संपन्न थे।
English Commentary
This verse depicts the happy climax of the Bala Kanda. The term 'raha' (in privacy) indicates the intimacy and affection in married life. The characterization of the princes as 'kṛta dārāḥ' (married), 'kṛta astrāḥ' (well-versed in weaponry), 'sa dhanāḥ' (wealthy), and 'sa suhṛt' (surrounded by friends) signifies a 'completeness'; they succeed in every aspect of life (dharma, artha, kama). This is the last moment of peace and happiness before the turmoil about to unfold in Ayodhya.

यह श्लोक बालकांड के सुखद चरमोत्कर्ष (Climax) को दर्शाता है। 'रहः' (एकांत) शब्द दांपत्य जीवन की निजता और प्रेम का सूचक है। राजकुमारों का वर्णन 'कृत दाराः' (विवाहित), 'कृत अस्त्राः' (अस्त्र विद्या पूर्ण किए हुए), 'स धनाः' (संपन्न) और 'स सुहृत्' (मित्रों वाले) के रूप में किया गया है। यह "पूर्णता" की स्थिति है—जीवन के हर पक्ष (धर्म, अर्थ, काम) में वे सफल हैं। यह शांति और सुख का वह अंतिम क्षण है जो अयोध्या कांड के तूफान से पहले आया है।
