जामदग्न्यो गतो रामः प्रयातु चतुर् अन्गिणी ।
अयोध्या अभिमुखी सेना त्वया नाथेन पालिता ॥१-७७-३॥
jāmadagnyo gato rāmaḥ prayātu catur angiṇī |
ayodhyā abhimukhī senā tvayā nāthena pālitā ॥1-77-3॥
Translation
"Jamadagnya Rama has gone. Let the four-fold army, protected by you as its Lord, proceed facing towards Ayodhya."
हिंदी अनुवाद
(राम ने कहा) "जामदग्न्य राम चले गए हैं। अब आपके स्वामित्व में सुरक्षित यह चतुरंगिणी सेना अयोध्या की ओर प्रस्थान करे।"
English Commentary
Rama gently takes charge of the logistics while maintaining the protocol of kingship. He informs Dasharatha that the threat is gone and suggests resuming the march. By stating the army is "protected by you" ("tvaya nathena palita"), Rama empowers his father, restoring Dasharatha's sense of authority and security which had been shattered by Parashurama's intrusion.

राम पिता से कहते हैं कि खतरा टल गया है। वे दशरथ को 'नाथ' (स्वामी/रक्षक) कहकर संबोधित करते हैं, यह दर्शाने के लिए कि सेना और परिवार के रक्षक अभी भी दशरथ ही हैं। राम अपनी विजय का श्रेय नहीं लेते, बल्कि स्थिति को सामान्य करते हुए यात्रा पुनः आरम्भ करने का सुझाव देते हैं। 'चतुरंगिणी' सेना में हाथी, घोड़े, रथ और पैदल सैनिक शामिल होते हैं।
