Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
पुत्रैः अनुगतः श्रीमान् श्रीमद्भिः च महायशाः ।
प्रविवेश गृहम् राजा हिमवत् सदृशम् प्रियम् ॥१-७७-९॥
putraiḥ anugataḥ śrīmān śrīmadbhiḥ ca mahāyaśāḥ |
praviveśa gṛham rājā himavat sadṛśam priyam ॥1-77-9॥
Translation
Followed by his glorious sons, the glorious and highly illustrious King entered his beloved palace which was like the Himalayas.
हिंदी अनुवाद
अपने कांतिमान (श्रीमान्) पुत्रों के साथ चलते हुए, महायशस्वी और श्रीमान् राजा दशरथ ने अपने प्रिय भवन (राजमहल) में प्रवेश किया जो हिमालय पर्वत के समान (ऊँचा और धवल) था।
English Commentary
The procession reaches its destination. The palace is compared to the Himalayas, suggesting it was grand, towering, and likely white (plastered/marble). Dasharatha enters followed by his sons, a visual representation of the succession and the strength of the dynasty. The repetition of "Shriman" emphasizes the aura of prosperity and divinity surrounding the lineage.
