विधि हीनस्य यज्ञस्य सद्यः कर्ता विनश्यति ।
तद्यथा विधि पूर्वम् मे क्रतुरेष समाप्यते ॥१-८-१८॥
vidhi hiinasya yajnasya sadyaḥ kartā vinaśyati |
tadyathā vidhi pūrvam me kratur eṣa samāpyate ॥1-8-18॥
Translation
One who performs a sacrifice without following the prescribed rules, soon perishes. Just as my sacrifice is completed according to the prescribed rules.

विधि हीन यज्ञ करने वाले का अविलम्ब कर्ता विनाश पाता है। जैसे विधि अनुसार, मेरा यह यज्ञ समाप्त होता है।
