सोऽभ्य अतिक्रामत् अव्यग्रः ताम् अचिन्त्य पराक्रमः ।
रामः पम्पाम् सु रुचिराम् रम्याम् पारिप्लव द्रुमान् ॥४-१-१२५॥
So'bhya atikrămat avyagraḥ tām acintya parākramaḥ |
Rāmaḥ pampām su rucirām ramyām pāriplava drumān ॥4-1-125॥
Translation
He of unthinkable prowess, Rama, now unagitated, crossed beyond that beautiful and delightful Pampa [lake], which had trees waving [in the wind].
हिंदी अनुवाद
अचिन्त्य पराक्रम वाले वे राम, (अब) व्यग्रता रहित होकर, उस अत्यंत सुंदर और रमणीय पंपा सरोवर को—जिसके वृक्ष हवा से हिल रहे थे—पार कर आगे बढ़े।
English Commentary
The narrative resumes physical movement. Rama is described as Acintya Parakrama (of unimaginable prowess), reaffirming his heroic status after the moment of vulnerability. The word Avyagra (unagitated/calm) confirms that Lakshmana's words have taken root; Rama is focused. The description of Pampa with its waving trees (pariplava druman) serves as a contrast—the environment remains turbulent and beautiful, but Rama has mastered his internal turbulence. He moves beyond the lake, signifying his detachment from the grief that the location earlier inspired. This is a transition verse moving the characters from the emotional setting of the lake toward the mountainous terrain where Sugriva awaits.

राम अब अपनी स्वाभाविक अवस्था में लौट आए हैं, जिसे वाल्मीकि ने 'अचिन्त्य पराक्रमः' (जिसके पराक्रम की कल्पना भी न की सके) कहा है। 'अव्यग्रः' शब्द महत्वपूर्ण है, जो दर्शाता है कि उनका मन अब शांत और स्थिर है। प्रकृति अभी भी सुंदर है (सु रुचिराम्, रम्याम्), वृक्ष अभी भी हिल रहे हैं, लेकिन राम का दृष्टिकोण बदल गया है। पहले यही सुंदरता उन्हें पीड़ा दे रही थी, अब वे धैर्यपूर्वक इसे पार कर रहे हैं। यह श्लोक राम की आंतरिक विजय और यात्रा की निरंतरता को दर्शाता है। वे पंपा सरोवर के सौंदर्य में अब और न उलझते हुए अपने लक्ष्य की ओर अग्रसर हैं।
