ततः सुतुमुलम् युद्धम् वालि सुग्रीवयोः अभूत् ।
गगने ग्रहयोः घोरम् बुध अंगारकयोः इव ॥ ॥४-१२-१७॥

Translation
Then, a tumultuous battle ensued between Vali and Sugriva, like the fierce clash between the planets Mercury and Mars in the sky.
