पृष्ठतो हनुमान् वीरो नलो नीलः च वीर्यवान् ।
तारः चैव महातेजा हरि यूथप यूथपाः ॥ ॥४-१३-४॥
pṛṣṭhato hanumān vīro nalo nīlaḥ ca vīryavān । tāraḥ caiva mahātejā hari yūthapa yūthapāḥ ॥ ॥4-13-4॥
Translation
Behind them walked the heroic Hanuman, the valiant Nala and Nila, and the highly energetic Tara (the Vanara commander), along with other troop leaders.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उनके पीछे वीर हनुमान, वीर्यवान नल और नील, तथा महातेजस्वी तार (वानर सेनापति) और अन्य वानर-यूथपति चले।
English Commentary
This is Rama's support squad. Hanuman, Nala, and Nila are key ministers and warriors. Note that the 'Tara' mentioned here is a male Vanara commander, not to be confused with Vali's wife, Tara. The phrase 'hari yūthapa yūthapāḥ' (commanders of the monkey troops) indicates that only the elite leadership accompanied them on this covert mission, not the entire army, maintaining the element of surprise.

यह राम की 'बैकअप टीम' है। हनुमान, नल और नील प्रमुख मंत्री और योद्धा हैं। यहाँ उल्लिखित 'तार' वाली की पत्नी तारा नहीं, बल्कि एक वानर सेनापति है जिसका नाम भी तार है। 'हरि यूथप यूथपाः' (वानर सेनापतियों के भी सेनापति) दर्शाता है कि केवल प्रमुख योद्धा ही इस गुप्त मिशन पर गए थे, पूरी सेना नहीं।
