अंगदः तु कुमरो अयम् वनांतम् उपनिर्गतः ।
प्रवृत्तिः तेन कथिता चारैः असीत् निवेदिता ॥४-१५-१६॥
aṅgadaḥ tu kumaro ayam vanāntam upanirgataḥ । pravṛttiḥ tena kathitā cāraiḥ asīt niveditā ॥ ॥4-15-16॥
Translation
This Prince Angada had gone out into the forest. The news/report that was given to him by the spies, he narrated to me.
हिंदी अनुवाद
यह कुमार अंगद (खेलने/शिकार के लिए) वन के भीतर गया था। वहां गुप्तचरों ने उसे जो समाचार (प्रवृत्ति) दिया, वही उसने मुझे बताया था।
English Commentary
Tara elaborates on the intelligence chain. Angada, while in the forest (vanāntam), received a pravṛttiḥ (report/news) from the cāraiḥ (spies). This confirms that Sugriva's movements were being monitored, but perhaps Vali was too arrogant to pay attention to these reports until now. Tara brings this neglected intelligence to the forefront, emphasizing that the threat is real and verified by their own spy network.

यहाँ राज्य की गुप्तचर व्यवस्था (Espionage System) का उल्लेख है। अंगद जब वन में गया था, तो 'चारैः' (गुप्तचरों ने) उसे सुग्रीव और राम की संधि की सूचना दी। तारा यह स्पष्ट कर रही है कि यह जानकारी हवा में नहीं है, बल्कि विश्वसनीय सूत्रों से प्राप्त हुई है। 'प्रवृत्ति' का अर्थ है समाचार या वृत्तांत। तारा, वाली को यह समझाना चाहती है कि शत्रु की तैयारी पूरी है और वे (वाली पक्ष) अनभिज्ञ नहीं रह सकते।
