धातूनाम् इव शैलेन्द्रो गुणानाम् आकरो महान् ।
तत् क्षमो न विरोधः ते सह तेन महात्मना ॥४-१५-२१॥
dhātūnām iva śailendro guṇānām ākaro mahān । tat kṣamo na virodhaḥ te saha tena mahātmanā ॥ ॥4-15-21॥
Translation
Just as the King of Mountains (Himalaya) is the mine of minerals, he is the great mine of virtues. Therefore, hostility with that high-souled one is not suitable for you.

जैसे हिमालय (शैलेन्द्र) धातुओं (खनिजों) का खजाना है, वैसे ही राम गुणों के महान आकर (खान) हैं। अतः उस महात्मा के साथ विरोध करना आपके लिए उचित नहीं है।
English Commentary
Using the simile of the Himalayas (śailendro), which are the source of infinite minerals (dhātūnām), Tara describes Rama as a mahān ākara (great mine) of virtues (guṇānām). The conclusion is pragmatic: virodhaḥ na kṣamaḥ—enmity is not capable of success or suitable for you. Tara argues that one cannot win against a being who embodies such vast merit and substance.

यहाँ 'शैलेन्द्र' (पर्वतराज हिमालय) की उपमा दी गई है। जैसे हिमालय अनंत धातुओं का स्रोत है, वैसे ही राम अनंत 'गुणों' के स्रोत (आकर) हैं। तारा निष्कर्ष निकालती है: 'न विरोधः क्षमः'—ऐसे महात्मा से विरोध करना समर्थ या उचित नहीं है। यह वाली के लिए अंतिम चेतावनी है कि वह राम के चरित्र और शक्ति का सही मूल्यांकन करे और युद्ध के विचार को त्याग दे।
