ये ते अंगद परीवारा वानरा हि महाबलाः ।
ते सकार्मुकम् आलोक्य रामम् त्रस्ताः प्रदुद्रुवुः ॥४-१९-५॥
ye te aṃgada parīvārā vānarā hi mahābalāḥ । te sakārmukam ālokya rāmam trastāḥ pradudruvuḥ ॥ ॥4-19-5॥
Translation
The mighty monkeys who belonged to Angada's retinue, seeing Rama with his bow, became terrified and fled.

अंगद के परिवार (अंगरक्षक दल) के जो महाबली वानर थे, वे धनुष हाथ में लिए हुए श्रीराम को देखकर भयभीत हो भाग खड़े हुए।
English Commentary
Panic spreads through the ranks. Even the elite guards of Angada ('Angada parivara'), described as mighty ('mahabalah'), are routed. The sight of Rama holding his bow ('sakarmukam') strikes terror into them. With their invincible king dead, their confidence collapses, and they flee ('pradudruvu'). This mass desertion highlights the terrifying aura of Rama on the battlefield and sets the stage for Tara's confrontation with these fleeing troops.

यहाँ युद्धभूमि की अराजकता का वर्णन है। जो वानर 'महाबलाः' (महाबली) थे और अंगद के रक्षक थे, वे भी राम का तेज नहीं सह सके। 'सकार्मुकम्' (धनुष सहित) राम को देखकर उन्हें साक्षात् मृत्यु का आभास हुआ। उनका भागना ('प्रदुद्रुवुः') यह सिद्ध करता है कि वाली के पतन के बाद वानर सेना का मनोबल पूरी तरह टूट चुका था। यह दृश्य तारा के आगमन के ठीक विपरीत है—जहाँ वीर सैनिक भाग रहे हैं, वहाँ एक निहत्थी स्त्री साहसपूर्वक आगे बढ़ रही है।
