Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
ततः सुग्रीव सचिवाः पर्वतेन्द्रे समाहिताः ।
संगम्य कपि मुख्येन सर्वे प्रांजलयः स्थिताः ॥४-२-१२॥
Tataḥ sugrīva sacivāḥ parvatendre samāhitāḥ |
Saṃgamya kapi mukhyena sarve prāñjalayaḥ sthitāḥ ॥4-2-12॥
Translation
Then, gathered on that lord of mountains, Sugriva’s ministers approached the Monkey Chief and all stood with joined palms.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तदनन्तर, उस पर्वतराज (ऋष्यमूक) पर एकत्रित होकर, सुग्रीव के सभी मंत्री वानर-राज (सुग्रीव) के पास जाकर और हाथ जोड़कर स्थित हो गए।
English Commentary
Order is restored after the chaotic retreat. The ministers gather (samahitah) on the Parvatendra (King of Mountains, referring to the summit/safe area). They approach Sugriva and assume a posture of respectful submission—pranjalayah (with joined palms). This body language indicates their loyalty and readiness to receive commands. They have successfully moved the king to safety, formed a perimeter, and are now waiting for the next directive. The panic has subsided enough for formal protocol to resume within the vanara court.

भागदड़ के बाद स्थिरता आती है। मंत्रीगण अब 'समाहिताः' (एकाग्र/एकत्रित) हैं। वे सुग्रीव के पास पहुँचकर 'प्रांजलयः' (हाथ जोड़े हुए) खड़े हैं। हाथ जोड़ना भारतीय संस्कृति में विनम्रता, समर्पण और आदेश की प्रतीक्षा का प्रतीक है। वे अब सुरक्षित स्थान पर हैं और अपने राजा के अगले आदेश की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं। यह स्थिति उस क्षणिक शांति को दर्शाती है जो विचार-विमर्श से ठीक पहले आती है। अराजकता समाप्त हो गई है, और अब कूटनीति या रणनीति का समय है।
