लालितः च अंगदो वीरः सुकुमारः सुखोचितः ।
वत्स्यते काम् अवस्थाम् मे पितृव्ये क्रोध मूर्च्छिते ॥ ॥४-२०-१७॥
Lālitaḥ ca aṅgado vīraḥ sukumāraḥ sukhocitaḥ । Vatsyate kām avasthām me pitṛvye krodha mūrcchite ॥ ॥4-20-17॥
Translation
My heroic son Angada, who has been pampered, is delicate and accustomed to comfort; in what state will he live now that his uncle is overwhelmed with anger?
हिंदी अनुवाद
मेरा वीर पुत्र अंगद, जो बहुत लाड़-प्यार में पला है, सुकुमार है और सुख का ही अभ्यस्त है; अब अपने चाचा (सुग्रीव) के क्रोध से पागल होने पर, न जाने किस दशा में रहेगा?
English Commentary
The focus shifts from the grieving wife to the anxious mother. Tara fears for her son, Angada. Descriptions like lālitaḥ (cherished/pampered) and sukumāraḥ (delicate/tender) highlight Angada's upbringing in luxury. Tara is terrified about how he will fare under the new regime of his uncle, Sugriva. The phrase krodha mūrcchite (fainted/overwhelmed by anger) refers to Sugriva's potential vengeance. Historically, the children of a fallen king were often at great risk from the successor. Tara worries that Sugriva's resentment toward Vali might be directed at Angada, leaving her son's future perilous.

एक पत्नी के विलाप के बाद, अब एक 'माँ' की चिंता सामने आती है। तारा को भय है कि सत्ता परिवर्तन का प्रभाव उनके पुत्र अंगद पर पड़ेगा। सुग्रीव, जो अब तक वाली के भय से ग्रसित थे, अब सत्ता में आएंगे और उनका क्रोध ('क्रोध मूर्च्छिते') पुराने वैर के कारण अंगद पर उतर सकता है। अंगद 'सुखोचित' (सुख के योग्य/आदी) हैं, उन्होंने कभी कठिनाई नहीं देखी। तारा की यह चिंता राजनीति की क्रूर वास्तविकता को दिखाती है जहाँ सत्ता संघर्ष में अक्सर पूर्व राजा के वंशजों को कष्ट भोगना पड़ता है।
