न च अहम् हरि राज्यस्य प्रभवामि अंगदस्य वा ।
पितृव्यः तस्य सुग्रीवः सर्व कार्येषु अनंतरः ॥ ॥४-२१-१४॥
na ca aham hari rājyasya prabhavāmi aṃgadasya vā । pitṛvyaḥ tasya sugrīvaḥ sarva kāryeṣu anaṃtaraḥ ॥ ॥4-21-14॥
Translation
I have no authority over the kingdom of monkeys, nor over Angada. His uncle Sugriva is now the immediate authority for all affairs.
हिंदी अनुवाद
न तो मैं वानर राज्य की स्वामिनी हूँ और न ही अंगद की (नियंता हूँ)। उसके चाचा सुग्रीव ही अब समस्त कार्यों में (अधिकारी/समीपस्थ) हैं।
English Commentary
Tara turns realistic here, acknowledging the laws of succession and Vanara custom. Upon the death of the king, the victorious brother (Sugriva) becomes the head of the state and the family. By denying she has prabhavami (authority/power), she reminds Hanuman that the center of power has shifted. She refuses to challenge Sugriva's new status, accepting that Angada’s future and the administration now depend on his uncle Sugriva, not on her.

तारा यहाँ यथार्थवादी हो जाती हैं। वे वानर समाज के नियमों और क्षत्रिय धर्म को जानती हैं। पति की मृत्यु के बाद, राज्य और परिवार का मुखिया विजेता भाई (सुग्रीव) होता है। 'प्रभवामि' (प्रभुत्व रखना) का खंडन करके वे हनुमान को याद दिलाती हैं कि अब सत्ता का केंद्र बदल चुका है। वे सुग्रीव के अधिकार को चुनौती नहीं देना चाहतीं और स्वीकार करती हैं कि अंगद का भविष्य अब सुग्रीव की दया और निर्णय पर निर्भर है, तारा पर नहीं।
