अंगदः तु कुमारो अयम् द्रष्टव्यो जीव पुत्रया ।
आयत्या च विधेयानि समर्थानि अस्य चिन्तय ॥ ॥४-२१-४॥
aṃgadaḥ tu kumāro ayam draṣṭavyo jīva putrayā । āyatyā ca vidheyāni samarthāni asya cintaya ॥ ॥4-21-4॥
Translation
You are the mother of a living son; therefore, this boy Angada should be looked after by you. Think of the appropriate actions capable of securing his future welfare.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तुम जीवित पुत्र वाली हो, अतः तुम्हें इस बालक अंगद की ओर देखना चाहिए। इसके भविष्य (आयति) के लिए जो भी हितकर और समर्थ कार्य हैं, उनका विचार करो।
English Commentary
Hanuman shifts from philosophy to pragmatism. He reminds Tara that while her role as a wife might have paused, her duty as a mother remains active. The descriptor jiva-putraya (one who has a living son) is crucial—it anchors her to the living world. Hanuman urges her to stop looking back in grief and start looking forward (ayatya) to secure Angada's future. He implies that ensuring Angada's safety and succession is now her primary purpose, which requires her to stay alive and alert.

अब हनुमान जी दर्शन (Philosophy) से व्यवहार (Pragmatism) की ओर आते हैं। वे तारा को याद दिलाते हैं कि पत्नी का धर्म पति के साथ समाप्त हो सकता है, लेकिन 'माँ' का धर्म अभी शेष है। 'जीव पुत्रया' (जीवित पुत्र वाली) संबोधन बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। यह उसे जीवन की ओर खींचने का प्रयास है। हनुमान जी उसे अतीत के शोक से निकालकर भविष्य ('आयत्या') की चिंता करने के लिए प्रेरित कर रहे हैं। अंगद का अस्तित्व ही अब तारा के जीने का उद्देश्य होना चाहिए।
