अनुरूपाणि कर्माणि विक्रम्य बलवान् रणे ।
करिष्यति एष तारेयः तरस्वी तरुणो अंगदः ॥ ॥४-२२-१२॥
anurūpāṇi karmāṇi vikramya balavān raṇe । kariṣyati eṣa tāreyaḥ tarasvī taruṇo aṃgadaḥ ॥ ॥4-22-12॥
Translation
Displaying his prowess in battle, this mighty, swift, and youthful Angada, the son of Tara, will perform deeds worthy of his lineage.
हिंदी अनुवाद
यह बलवान, वेगवान और युवा अंगद युद्ध में पराक्रम दिखाकर अपने (कुल/पिता के) अनुरूप कर्म करेगा।
English Commentary
Vali reiterates Angada’s merit to eliminate any doubt in Sugriva’s mind. The patronymic Tareyah (son of Tara) implies genetic superiority—he inherits the best of both Vali and Tara. Anurupani karmani means he will act in a manner befitting his high lineage. For a king, the loyalty and capability of his second-in-command are crucial, and Vali is personally guaranteeing Angada's performance.

वाली बार-बार अंगद की योग्यता पर जोर दे रहे हैं ताकि सुग्रीव के मन में कोई संदेह न रहे। 'तारेयः' (तारा का पुत्र) शब्द का प्रयोग आनुवंशिक श्रेष्ठता को दर्शाता है—वह वाली और तारा दोनों के गुणों का मिश्रण है। 'अनुरूपाणि कर्माणि' का अर्थ है कि वह अपने वंश की प्रतिष्ठा को गिरने नहीं देगा। एक राजा के लिए उत्तराधिकारी की वफादारी और क्षमता सबसे महत्वपूर्ण होती है, और वाली उसी की गारंटी दे रहे हैं।
