परिरब्धुम् न शक्नोमि भुजाभ्याम् प्लवगर्षभ ।
कृत कृत्यो अद्य सुग्रीवो वैरे अस्मिन् अतिदारुणे ॥ ॥४-२३-१५॥
Parirabdhum na śaknomi bhujābhyām plavagarṣabha । Kṛta kṛtyo adya sugrīvo vaire asmin atidāruṇe ॥ ॥4-23-15॥
Translation
O Bull among Monkeys, I am unable to embrace you with my arms. Today, in this extremely terrible enmity, Sugriva has accomplished his purpose.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे वानरश्रेष्ठ! मैं आपको अपनी भुजाओं में आलिंगन भी नहीं कर पा रही हूँ (बाण के कारण)। इस अत्यंत भयानक वैर (शत्रुता) में सुग्रीव आज कृतकृत्य (सफल) हो गया।
English Commentary
Tara expresses frustration that she is physically prevented from embracing ("Parirabdhum") her husband due to the arrow still lodged in his chest. She acknowledges the outcome of the feud: Sugriva is "Krita krityo" (one who has achieved his end). The commentary notes the bitterness in her tone regarding the "Atidarune vaire" (terrible enmity). It highlights the tragedy that the culmination of this brotherly feud allows one to succeed only through the total destruction of the other, leaving the survivor successful but stained, and the grieving wife unable to even hold her beloved.

तारा की पीड़ा यहाँ शारीरिक बाधा के रूप में व्यक्त होती है। वह अपने पति को अंतिम बार गले लगाना चाहती हैं, लेकिन छाती में धंसे बाण के कारण ऐसा नहीं कर पा रही हैं। 'प्लवगर्षभ' (वानरों में बैल समान श्रेष्ठ) संबोधन वाली की शक्ति को दर्शाता है। तारा सुग्रीव के प्रति कड़वाहट व्यक्त करती हैं—यह 'वैर' (दुश्मनी) 'अतिदारुण' (अत्यंत क्रूर) था, और सुग्रीव ने अपने भाई को मारकर अपना लक्ष्य ('कृतकृत्य') पा लिया। यह भाई-भाई के युद्ध की विभीषिका है जहाँ एक की सफलता दूसरे के विनाश पर टिकी है।
