तस्मिन् क्षणे अभीक्ष्णम् अवेक्षमाणः क्षिति क्षमावान् भुवनस्य गोप्ता ।
रामो रुदन्तीम् व्यसने निमग्नām समुत्सुकः सः अथ ददर्श ताराम् ॥ ॥४-२४-२५॥
tasmin kṣaṇe abhīkṣṇam avekṣamāṇaḥ kṣiti kṣamāvān bhuvanasya goptā । rāmo rudantīm vyasane nimagnām samutsukaḥ saḥ atha dadarśa tārām ॥ ॥4-24-25॥
Translation
"At that moment, Rama, who is patient like the earth and the protector of the world, looking around repeatedly, saw Tara, who was submerged in calamity and weeping."

"उसी क्षण, पृथ्वी के समान क्षमाशील और संसार के रक्षक राम ने चारों ओर बार-बार देखते हुए, दुःख में डूबी हुई और रोती हुई तारा को (उत्सुकता पूर्वक) देखा।"
English Commentary
The focus shifts to the encounter between Rama and Tara. Rama is described with high epithets: patient as Earth (kṣiti kṣamāvān) and Protector of the World (bhuvanasya goptā). These titles stand in stark contrast to the destruction he has just facilitated. He looks around and spots Tara, "submerged in calamity" (vyasane nimagnām). His 'curiosity' or eagerness (samutsukaḥ) to see her suggests a sense of responsibility. He needs to confront the human cost of his actions directly. It sets the stage for a powerful interaction between the slayer and the widow.
