एते हि सचिवा राजन् तार प्रभृतयः तव ।
पुर वासि जनः च अयम् परिवार्य विषीदति ॥ ॥४-२५-४६॥
Ete hi sacivā rājan tāra prabhṛtayaḥ tava । Pura vāsi janaḥ ca ayam parivārya viṣīdati ॥ ॥4-25-46॥
Translation
"O King, here are your ministers led by Tara (the monkey chief). And here are the citizens surrounding you, filled with despair."

"हे राजन्! ये तार (नामक वानर सेनापति) आदि आपके मंत्री हैं। और यह पुरवासी जन समुदाय आपको घेरकर विषाद (शोक) कर रहा है।"
English Commentary
Tara shifts her appeal from the personal to the political. She points out the ministers (led by the chief named Tara, distinct from the speaker) and the citizens who are mourning. By highlighting the collective despair of the "pura vasi" (city dwellers), she emphasizes the vacuum left by his death. It is a plea to the King's sense of duty, showing him the people who are now leaderless and grieving around him.

तारा अब वाली का ध्यान उसके राजधर्म और प्रजा की ओर आकर्षित करती है। 'तार' यहाँ तारा (पत्नी) नहीं, बल्कि एक प्रमुख वानर सेनापति का नाम है। मंत्रियों और नागरिकों (पुरवासी) की उपस्थिति यह बताती है कि पूरा राज्य अपने नेता को खोने के बाद दिशाहीन महसूस कर रहा है। तारा वाली को यह अहसास दिलाना चाहती है कि उसके बिना सब कितने दुखी हैं, मानो उसकी जिम्मेदारी उसे वापस बुला लेगी।
