भवत् प्रसादात् काकुत्स्थ पितृ पैतामहम् महत् ।
वानराणाम् सुदंष्ट्राणाम् संपन्न बलशालिनाम् ॥ ॥४-२६-४॥
Bhavat prasādāt kākutstha pitṛ paitāmaham mahat । Vānarāṇām sudaṃṣṭrāṇām sampanna balaśālinām ॥ ॥4-26-4॥
Translation
"O Kakutstha! By your grace, this great ancestral kingdom of the Vanaras, who possess sharp fangs and abundant strength, (has been regained)."

"हे काकुत्स्थ! आपकी कृपा से (सुग्रीव को) विशाल दाढ़ों वाले और संपन्न बलशाली वानरों का यह महान पैतृक राज्य (प्राप्त हो गया है)।"
English Commentary
Hanuman begins with gratitude, attributing the recovery of the kingdom entirely to Rama's grace. By calling the kingdom "pitṛ paitāmaham" (ancestral), he legitimizes Sugriva's claim to the throne. Mentions of the Vanaras' strength ("sharp fangs," "abundant power") serve a dual purpose: praising the kingdom and subtly reminding Rama that this powerful army is now at his disposal for his own mission.

हनुमान कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करते हुए बात शुरू करते हैं। वे स्पष्ट करते हैं कि यह राज्य सुग्रीव को राम की कृपा ('भवत् प्रसादात्') से मिला है। 'पितृ पैतामहम्' (बाप-दादाओं का) शब्द यह वैधता प्रदान करता है कि सुग्रीव इस राज्य का नैसर्गिक अधिकारी है। हनुमान यहाँ वानर सेना की शक्ति ('सुदंष्ट्राणाम्', 'बलशालिनाम्') का भी उल्लेख करते हैं, जो परोक्ष रूप से राम को यह याद दिलाता है कि यह सेना अब सीता की खोज के लिए तैयार है।
