महात्मानाम् सुदुष्प्रापम् प्राप्तम् राज्यम् इदम् प्रभो ।
भवता समनुज्ञातः प्रविश्य नगरम् शुभम् ॥ ॥४-२६-५॥
Mahātmānām suduṣprāpam prāptam rājyam idam prabho । Bhavatā samanujñātaḥ praviśya nagaram śubham ॥ ॥4-26-5॥
Translation
"O Lord! He has obtained this kingdom which is difficult even for the great-souled to attain. With your permission, may he enter the auspicious city."

"हे प्रभो! महात्माओं के लिए भी अत्यंत दुर्लभ यह राज्य इसे प्राप्त हुआ है। अब आपकी आज्ञा पाकर, (सुग्रीव) इस शुभ नगर में प्रवेश करें।"
English Commentary
Hanuman formally seeks Rama's permission for Sugriva to enter Kishkindha and claim the throne. Describing the kingdom as "difficult to attain" reinforces the magnitude of Rama's intervention. This verse establishes the new political reality: Sugriva is the king, but he holds the kingdom as a subordinate or ally subject to Rama's approval. The entry into the "auspicious city" marks the end of their exile.
