निवेद्य रामाय तदा महात्मने महा अभिषेकम् कपि वाहनी पतिः ।
रुमाम् च भार्याम् उपलभ्य वीर्यवान् अवाप राज्यम् त्रिदश अधिपो यथा ॥ ॥४-२६-४२॥
nivedya rāmaya tadā mahātmane mahā abhiṣekam kapi vāhanī patiḥ । rumām ca bhāryām upalabhya vīryavān avāpa rājyam tridaśa adhipo yathā ॥ ॥4-26-42॥
Translation
Then, the Lord of the monkey army (Sugriva) reported his great coronation to the high-souled Rama. Having regained his wife Ruma, the mighty one attained the kingdom just like the Lord of the Thirty Gods (Indra).
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब वानर सेना के स्वामी, वीर्यवान सुग्रीव ने महात्मा राम को अपने महान राज्याभिषेक का समाचार भिजवाया। अपनी पत्नी रुमा को पुनः प्राप्त कर, उन्होंने इन्द्र (त्रिदशाधिप) की भांति राज्य प्राप्त किया।
English Commentary
This concluding verse summarizes the restoration of Sugriva. He fulfills protocol by reporting ('nivedya') the completion of the coronation to his benefactor, Rama. The recovery of his wife, Ruma, is as significant as gaining the throne, as it restores his domestic honor and personal happiness. The title 'Kapi vāhanī patiḥ' (Lord of the monkey army) emphasizes his military command. The comparison to Indra ('Tridaśa adhipo' - Lord of the 30 classes of gods) is the ultimate seal of approval, equating his earthly glory with celestial sovereignty.
