कुरुष्व स्वामि संबन्धम् वानरान् संप्रहर्षयन् ।
एवम् उक्तो हनुमता राघवः पर वीरहा ॥ ॥४-२६-८॥
Kuruṣva svāmi saṃbandham vānarān saṃpraharṣayan । Evam ukto hanumatā rāghavaḥ para vīrahā ॥ ॥4-26-8॥
Translation
"Establish the bond of a master, thereby delighting the Vanaras." Being addressed thus by Hanuman, Raghava (Rama), the slayer of enemy heroes, replied.
हिंदी अनुवाद
"वानरों को हर्षित करते हुए आप (सुग्रीव के साथ) स्वामी-सेवक का संबंध स्थापित करें।" हनुमान द्वारा ऐसा कहे जाने पर शत्रु वीरों का नाश करने वाले राघव (राम) ने उत्तर दिया।
English Commentary
Hanuman explicitly asks Rama to establish a "Swami-sambandham" (Master-Subject relationship). While Sugriva is a friend, Hanuman, with his keen political insight, recognizes the need for a clear hierarchy to ensure stability. If Rama enters as the overlord, the Vanara subjects will feel secure and delighted ("sampraharshayan"). The epithet "Para-viraha" (slayer of hostile heroes) for Rama acknowledges that his martial power creates the foundation for this new political order in Kishkindha.

हनुमान 'स्वामि संबन्धम्' (स्वामी और सेवक का संबंध) स्थापित करने का आग्रह करते हैं। यद्यपि सुग्रीव मित्र हैं, हनुमान चाहते हैं कि राम औपचारिक रूप से 'अधिपति' के रूप में स्वीकार किए जाएं। इससे वानर सेना में राम के प्रति निष्ठा और सम्मान ('संप्रहर्षयन्') बढ़ेगा। राम के लिए 'परवीरहा' (शत्रु वीरों का हंता) विशेषण का प्रयोग यह याद दिलाता है कि उन्होंने अभी-अभी वाली का वध किया है, और उनकी शक्ति ही इस नए संबंध का आधार है।
