शरत् कालम् प्रतीक्षिष्ये स्थितो अस्मि वचने तव ।
सुग्रीवस्य नदीनाम् च प्रसादम् अनुपालयन् ॥ ॥४-२७-४४॥
Śarat kālam pratīkṣiṣye sthito asmi vacane tava । Sugrīvasya nadīnām ca prasādam anupālayan ॥ ॥4-27-44॥
Translation
I abide by your advice and shall wait for the autumn season, awaiting the grace (favor) of Sugriva and the clarity of the rivers.
हिंदी अनुवाद
मैं तुम्हारे वचन पर स्थित हूँ और सुग्रीव की तथा नदियों की प्रसन्नता (निर्मलता) की प्रतीक्षा करता हुआ शरद ऋतु की बाट जोहूँगा।
English Commentary
Rama explicitly agrees to the plan (sthito asmi vacane tava). He commits to waiting for two things: the prasada of the rivers (clearing of the waters/receding of floods) and the prasada of Sugriva (his active assistance). Waiting for the rivers is a physical necessity; waiting for Sugriva shows Rama’s reliance on the alliance they have forged, framing Sugriva's future help as a favor to be graciously received.

श्रीराम प्रतीक्षा के लिए सहमत हैं। यहाँ 'नदीनाम् प्रसादम्' का अर्थ है नदियों के जल का स्वच्छ और शांत होना, जो वर्षा ऋतु के बाद शरद में होता है। 'सुग्रीवस्य प्रसादम्' का अर्थ है सुग्रीव की कृपा या सहायता। यद्यपि श्रीराम समर्थ हैं, फिर भी वे सुग्रीव की सहायता को उनका 'प्रसाद' (अनुग्रह) मानकर सम्मान दे रहे हैं, जो उनकी विनम्रता है।
