मासि प्रौष्ठपदे ब्रह्म ब्राह्मणानां विवक्षताम्।
अयमध्ययनसमयः सामगानामुपस्थितः॥ ॥४-२८-५४॥
Māsi prauṣṭhapade brahma brāhmaṇānāṃ vivakṣatām। Ayamadhyayanasamayaḥ sāmagānāmupasthitaḥ॥ ॥4-28-54॥
Translation
In this month of Prausthapada (Bhadrapada), the time for study has arrived for the Brahmins desiring to recite the Vedas, particularly for the chanters of the Sama Veda.

English Commentary
