तत् भवान् वृत्त संपन्नः स्थितः पथि निरत्यये ।
मित्रार्थम् अभिनीतार्थम् यथावत् कर्तुम् अर्हति ॥ ॥४-२९-१२॥
Tat bhavān vṛtta saṃpannaḥ sthitaḥ pathi niratyaye |
Mitrārtham abhinītārtham yathāvat kartum arhati ॥4-29-12॥
Translation
"Therefore, you, who are endowed with good conduct and are now situated on a path free from danger, ought to perform the task for your friend—the purpose of which is clear—in the proper manner."

"इसलिए, सदाचार से संपन्न और बाधा-रहित मार्ग पर स्थित आप, मित्र (राम) के उस कार्य को, जिसका प्रयोजन स्पष्ट है, विधिवत (यथायोग्य) करने के योग्य हैं।"
English Commentary
Hanuman moves from theory to direct appeal. He describes Sugriva as Vritta-sampanna (endowed with noble conduct), appealing to his sense of honor. He points out that Sugriva is now on a path Niratyaye (free from danger/calamity), referring to the removal of Vali. Since Sugriva is no longer fighting for survival, he has the capacity and the moral obligation to act. The phrase Abhinitartham suggests the task is clearly defined and urgent. There is no ambiguity about what needs to be done; therefore, Sugriva must execute it Yathavat (methodically and correctly).

हनुमान जी अब सुग्रीव को कार्य करने के लिए प्रेरित कर रहे हैं। वे सुग्रीव को 'वृत्त संपन्नः' (सदाचारी) कहकर उनके नैतिक दायित्व को जगाते हैं। 'पथि निरत्यये' (बाधा रहित मार्ग) का अर्थ है कि अब वाली का भय नहीं है और राज्य में कोई कंटक नहीं है। जब व्यक्ति विपत्ति में होता है, तो वह दूसरों की मदद नहीं कर सकता, लेकिन अब चूँकि सुग्रीव सुरक्षित हैं, उन पर मित्र के कार्य का भार है। 'अभिनीतार्थम्' का अर्थ है वह कार्य जिसका लक्ष्य और प्रयोजन बिल्कुल सामने है (सीता की खोज), उसमें कोई संशय नहीं होना चाहिए।
