तत् इदम् मित्रकार्यम् नः काल अतीतम् अरिंदम ।
क्रियताम् राघवस्य एतत् वैदेह्याः परिमार्गणम् ॥ ॥४-२९-१५॥
Tat idam mitrakāryam naḥ kāla atītam arindama |
Kriyatām rāghavasya etat vaidehyāḥ parimārgaṇam ॥4-29-15॥
Translation
"Therefore, O Tamer of Enemies, this task of our friend—the searching for Vaidehi (Sita)—is passing its due time. Let this be done for Raghava."

"इसलिए हे अरिंदम (शत्रुओं का दमन करने वाले)! हमारे मित्र (राम) का यह कार्य, वैदेही (सीता) की खोज, अपनी समय सीमा पार कर रहा है। इसे (शीघ्र) किया जाए।"
English Commentary
Hanuman drops the generalizations and points specifically to the task at hand: Vaidehyah parimarganam (the search for Sita). He addresses Sugriva as Arindama (Destroyer of Foes), a rousing title meant to awaken his martial spirit and shake off his lethargy. By stating that the task is Kala atitam (past its time/overdue), he injects urgency. Notably, Hanuman uses Nah (our task), identifying himself with the mission and showing solidarity with the King, rather than standing apart as a critic.

अब हनुमान जी सीधे मुद्दे पर आते हैं। 'अरिंदम' (शत्रु-दमनक) संबोधन का प्रयोग सुग्रीव को उनके पौरुष की याद दिलाने के लिए है—कि जो शत्रुओं को हरा सकता है, वह आलस्य को क्यों नहीं? उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि कार्य 'सीता की खोज' ('वैदेह्याः परिमार्गणम्') है और यह 'कालातीत' (Late) हो रहा है। यहाँ 'नः' (हमारा) शब्द का प्रयोग करके हनुमान जी ने स्वयं को भी इस जिम्मेदारी में शामिल कर लिया है, जिससे सुग्रीव को यह न लगे कि केवल उन पर ही आदेश चलाया जा रहा है।
