शक्तिमान् अतिविक्रान्तो वानर ऋष्क गण ईश्वर ।
कर्तुम् दाशरथेः प्रीतिम् आज्ञायाम् किम् नु सज्जसे ॥ ॥४-२९-२१॥
Śaktimān ativikrānto vānara ṛṣka gaṇa īśvara |
Kartum dāśaratheḥ prītim ājñāyām kim nu sajjase ॥4-29-21॥
Translation
"You are powerful, exceedingly valiant, and the Lord of the multitudes of monkeys and bears. Why then do you hesitate in giving the command to accomplish the pleasure of Dasharatha's son?"
हिंदी अनुवाद
"आप शक्तिमान हैं, अत्यंत पराक्रमी हैं, और वानरों तथा रीछों के गणों के स्वामी हैं। दशरथ-नंदन (राम) का प्रिय करने के लिए (सेना को) आज्ञा देने में आप संकोच (या विलंब) क्यों कर रहे हैं?"
English Commentary
Hanuman addresses the logistics of the task. He reminds Sugriva that he is not helpless; he is Shaktiman (powerful) and the absolute ruler (Ishvara) of vast armies of monkeys and bears. The delay is not due to a lack of capacity but a lack of will. By asking "Why do you hesitate?" (Kim nu sajjase), Hanuman challenges Sugriva to identify the mental block preventing him from issuing the mobilization order. It implies that for a king with such resources, serving Rama should be effortless and immediate.

इस श्लोक में हनुमान जी सुग्रीव को उनकी शक्ति और संसाधनों की याद दिलाते हैं। सुग्रीव कोई साधारण व्यक्ति नहीं, बल्कि 'वानर-ऋक्ष गण ईश्वर' हैं—लाखों सैनिकों के स्वामी। जब साधन (Resource) उपलब्ध हैं और सामर्थ्य (Capability) भी है, तो फिर 'सज्जसे' (संकोच/चिपके रहना) क्यों? अक्सर व्यक्ति आलस्य या आत्मविश्वास की कमी के कारण कार्य नहीं करता, लेकिन यहाँ हनुमान जी बता रहे हैं कि सुग्रीव के पास राम का कार्य करने की पूरी क्षमता है। उन्हें केवल एक आदेश पारित करने की देर है।
