प्राण त्याग अविशंकेन कृतम् तेन महत् प्रियम् ।
तस्य मार्गाम वैदेहीम् पृथिव्याम् अपि च अंबरे ॥ ॥४-२९-२३॥
Prāṇa tyāga aviśaṃkena kṛtam tena mahat priyam |
Tasya mārgāma vaidehīm pṛthivyām api ca ambare ॥4-29-23॥
Translation
"For him who did us a great favor without fearing the sacrifice of his own life, we shall search for Vaidehi (Sita) on earth and even in the sky."

"जिन्होंने अपने प्राणों के त्याग की शंका (भय) न करते हुए (आपका) महान प्रिय कार्य किया है, उस (राम) के लिए हम वैदेही (सीता) को पृथ्वी पर और आकाश में भी खोजेंगे।"
English Commentary
Hanuman emphasizes the reciprocity of risk. Rama engaged in mortal combat with Vali, risking his life without hesitation (Avishankena) to help Sugriva. In return, the Vanaras must be willing to go to any lengths. Hanuman declares their readiness to search not just on terrestrial ground (Prithivyam) but even in the skies (Ambare), implying that no terrain is inaccessible to them. This sets the scope of the mission: it is total and boundless, matching the magnitude of Rama's sacrifice for Sugriva.

हनुमान जी यहाँ 'ऋण' चुकाने की भावना को उत्तेजित कर रहे हैं। राम ने वाली से युद्ध करते समय अपने प्राणों की परवाह नहीं की थी ('प्राण त्याग अविशंकेन')। यह सुग्रीव के लिए एक बड़ा जोखिम था। अब सुग्रीव और वानरों का कर्तव्य है कि वे असंभव को संभव करें। 'पृथिव्याम् अपि च अंबरे' (धरती और आकाश में भी) कहने का अर्थ है कि सीता कहीं भी हों—पाताल में या स्वर्ग में—वानर सेना उन्हें ढूँढ़ निकालेगी। यह हनुमान जी के आत्मविश्वास और समर्पण को दर्शाता है।
