न देवा न च गंधर्वा न असुरा न मरुत् गणाः ।
न च यक्षा भयम् तस्य कुर्युः किम् इव राक्षसाः ॥ ॥४-२९-२४॥
Na devā na ca gandharvā na asurā na marut gaṇāḥ |
Na ca yakṣā bhayam tasya kuryuḥ kim iva rākṣasāḥ ॥4-29-24॥
Translation
"Neither gods, nor Gandharvas, nor Asuras, nor the troops of Maruts, nor Yakshas can cause fear in him (Rama); what then of the Rakshasas?"

"न देवता, न गंधर्व, न असुर, न मरुद्गण और न ही यक्ष उस (राम) के लिए भय उत्पन्न कर सकते हैं; फिर राक्षसों की तो बात ही क्या है?"
English Commentary
To further dismantle any arrogance Sugriva might feel about "saving" Rama, Hanuman reiterates Rama’s invincibility. He lists the most formidable beings in the cosmos—Devas, Asuras, Maruts—and states they cannot inspire fear in Rama. Therefore, the Rakshasas (Ravana's kin) are insignificant (Kim iva) by comparison. This serves a dual purpose: it humbles Sugriva and simultaneously boosts morale, assuring the Vanaras that they are allied with the supreme power of the universe, making victory inevitable.

हनुमान जी पुनः राम के पौरुष का वर्णन करते हैं ताकि वानरों और सुग्रीव के मन से यह भ्रम निकल जाए कि वे राम पर कोई अहसान कर रहे हैं। राम निर्भीक हैं। सृष्टि की कोई भी शक्ति—चाहे वह दिव्य (देवता) हो या आसुरी—उन्हें डरा नहीं सकती। रावण और उसके राक्षस राम के सामने तुच्छ हैं। यह श्लोक यह भी भरोसा दिलाता है कि जिस युद्ध में वे जा रहे हैं, उसका नेतृत्वकर्ता (राम) अजेय है, इसलिए जीत निश्चित है।
