आसीनः पर्वतस्य अग्रे हेम धातु विभूषिते ।
शारदम् गगनम् दृष्ट्वा जगाम मनसा प्रियाम् ॥ ॥४-३०-६॥
āsīnaḥ parvatasya agre hema dhātu vibhūṣite |
shāradam gaganam dṛṣṭvā jagāma manasā priyām ॥4-30-6॥
Translation
Seated on the mountain peak adorned with gold minerals, and gazing at the autumnal sky, he journeyed to his beloved in his mind.
हिंदी अनुवाद
सोने की धातुओं (गेरू आदि) से विभूषित पर्वत के शिखर पर बैठे हुए राम, शरद ऋतु के आकाश को देखकर मन ही मन अपनी प्रिया (सीता) के पास चले गए।
English Commentary
This verse clarifies the distinction between Rama's physical position and his mental journey. Physically, he is on the Malyavan (Prasravana) mountain, shining with gold minerals, but mentally he has reached Lanka (or wherever Sita is). 'Jagama manasa priyam' (went to the beloved with the mind) describes that state of love where the lover's existence disconnects from the surroundings and focuses solely on the beloved. The beauty of the mountain does not hold him back; instead, it becomes a medium for Sita's memory.

यह श्लोक राम की शारीरिक स्थिति और मानसिक यात्रा के बीच के अंतर को स्पष्ट करता है। शारीरिक रूप से वे माल्यवान (प्रस्रवण) पर्वत पर हैं जो सुवर्ण धातुओं से चमक रहा है, परन्तु मानसिक रूप से वे लंका (या जहाँ भी सीता हैं) पहुँच चुके हैं। 'जगाम मनसा प्रियाम्' (मन से प्रिया के पास गए) प्रेम की उस अवस्था का वर्णन है जहाँ प्रेमी का अस्तित्व अपने परिवेश से कटकर केवल प्रियपात्र में केंद्रित हो जाता है। पर्वत की सुंदरता उन्हें रोक नहीं पाती, बल्कि सीता की स्मृति का माध्यम बन जाती है।
